Exciting News for Dragon Fans
Universal Pictures, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, has revealed plans for a live-action version of the beloved classic, How to Train Your Dragon. This highly anticipated film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 13. Directed by Dean DeBlois, who helmed the original animated trilogy and is a three-time Academy Award nominee as well as a Golden Globe winner, this adaptation aims to infuse new life and grandeur into the cherished story.
The film features Mason Thames in the role of Hiccup and BAFTA nominee Nico Parker as Astrid. Gerard Butler returns to portray Stoick the Vast. The supporting cast includes Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, Ruth Codd, Peter Serafinowicz, and Murray McArthur, all contributing to the narrative that aims to reignite the magic, excitement, and emotional resonance that fans have cherished over the years.
